For
lpaulabbott, I am, indeed, beating my 4100 original mile GN like a red headed step- child. That car had 280 miles on it when it was purchased and it hasn’t seen a day of peace since. I’ve been hanging bolt-on parts, and tasteful up-grades (not to mention chrome parts under the hood), and foolishly throwing money into it like there’s no tomorrow. No sir, no garage queen around here, no sir, not even close…….
lv2tikt, your keen insight is eclipsed only by your trained sense of humor. How the heck did you know that my Mustang was humiliated by a broken down GN? And thanks for the concern that I should relax (apparently, patience and relaxation is a virtue around here). And you’re right again, I probably won’t see that Intercooler after
them remarks. Oh, just to be polite, I need to remind you to lose the capital letters- some guys get agitated and un-relaxed when you shout on this forum.

DCVING 6, I’ll look around a little longer as you suggest and perhaps I’ll learn something. But meanwhile, while I’m learning, if someone keeps me on hold for almost a week (you know, waiting to hear about a GN part), what should I do? Please do share your insight as I am an impatient man (not to mention un-relaxed).
Oh, I almost overlooked the sage advise and counseling from
gn4u2c, who laments the lack of patience (I really must be impatient) around here. Let’s see, a little more relaxation, a little more time, ……slightly reminiscent of an old Otis Redding tune.
Funny thing is, if someone blew you guys off for a week (directed to you guys who are so quick to point out the error of my ways), relaxation would dissipate, patience would fly out the door, tempers would flare, and yes, name calling would ensue. In fact, you “guys” are no doubt the worst offenders since it generally takes one to know one.
As for
Boostjunkie, he is a standup guy and I have no bad feelings toward him (even though he probably wouldn’t loan me a transmission
).
In closing, please note that these comments are directed only at those who stepped into the fray. I am by no means taking pot shots at the membership at large.
There is a Feedback forum that is used when someone takes your money and doesn't supply any parts. That is when you get "screwed".
