Thank you, DCVING 6, I’ll look around a little longer as you suggest and perhaps I’ll learn something. But meanwhile, while I’m learning, if someone keeps me on hold for almost a week (you know, waiting to hear about a GN part), what should I do? Please do share your insight as I am an impatient man (not to mention un-relaxed).

I will usually use peoples communication habbits as an indication of how the deal is going to work. If they make promises on getting pictures by a certain date, and don't without letting you know they can't make the "deadline"... I assume that they may not be the quickest to ship the part out once they get your money.
On the other hand if they are prompt with getting back to you, answer questions to your satisfaction, etc, I'd be willing to bet the transaction will go pretty smoothly.

Speaking for everyone else, I would venture to guess most people would consider your initial post as something that should have been emailed or private messaged between you and boostjunkie.

I understand how you can get a little impatient waiting on speed parts. Kind of like waiting by the front door when you know the UPS truck is supposed to stop by.

No hard feelings, I love to hear that you are leaning on a low mileage car. Having a garage queen is no damn fun.

Personnally, I wouldn't consider being screwed until I actually paid for something and didn't receive it! And I wouldn't start slamming another board member thats been around ALOT longer and one with a good rep such as Shawn ( Go Steelers!!!!) I grew up in the Steel town in the Bradshaw era.

Well, it appears this issue is not going to simmer down. You mention my “wonderful attitude with other members” yet you’re the one that opened your mouth to castigate me. I have no issues with the other members, only you and a few others who are apparently suffering from their monthly spike of female hormones.

This is supposed to be a public forum, one in which individuals are free to express their opinions within limits. I did exactly that, based upon my experience with a board member. I didn’t like the way that a transaction was going and brought it to the attention of the members. As it turned out, he had a bad day and the problem was an anomaly. I appreciated the manner in which he explained the problem and felt that the issue was resolved.

So now, I’m supposed to worry that I won’t be able to buy and sell items on this forum. You could have at least threatened me like a big person, stating firmly that I would be exiled from the board. But nooooo, you issued a veiled threat that any twelve year old would be proud of. As a vendor on this site, I sure hope you don’t conduct your business with that attitude. But I’m sure there will be a few posts to attest to your unblemished character.

Ok, now, you go sell something and I’ll keep looking for an IC…....

Thank you Tommy! And I don't believe that a threat was ever made? It would be an "empty" threat because Carl never listed a location. Also, What I originally stated was that I "personally" wouldn't consider being screwed until the other party had my funds and I never received what I had paid for. I also stated that Shawn (boostjunkie) has a much longer and better history on this board than Carl does and that may not be the way to enter a new board? I think what this tells the other board members and vendors is that you are more than likely going to be Xtremely hard to deal with on any level in the future?!?!?!?! Oh, and by the way it seems as though it's your hormones that are out of wack this week! I hope that you and the wife don't menstrate at the same time every month?
