I don't think the snake bit down in the video, doesn't mean that it didn't eventually bite down and was then edited out. Whoever is that fanatical about whatever influenced them to do something so back woods of a thing as that is way beyond me. Looks like a tent revival stunt, just too weird!

The snake has probably had its fangs removed. It is a common practice for gypsy snake charmers to do this so that they dont get bitten during performances.

that video has been around a while. I had heard previously that the snake had it's fangs removed, but the snopes explanation makes sense too and is probably more likely.

The fangs were removed. That is a fact. Without teeth the bite pressure is actually really weak. Im not suprised the baby wasn't crying. It just simply wouldnt hurt for her to cry. Like a small poke.
