SignUp Now!Get that 9.99!A new personal best for me , 10.1 @ 142 mph . Just learning this new set up and working on the 60ft which is not good at the moment . It's probably the nut behind the wheel !! Rained out today (Friday) and very high winds and rain @ around 10 pm . I hope the tents are still there in the morning !!
I saw that happen in the process of burying mine in the mud trying to get loaded up. Hate to see it, looked like it was on a tear before it happened.Well I'm down for a while ........I split the block on Saturday during qualifying , oiled down the track starting at the 1/8th . Tune looks great right up to when the motor let go ................It's always something with these cars !!
Jim Ruggles did my first 109.I split the block on Saturday during qualifying ,
I got to look at Rich's car while we were in staging lane prison Thursday. That is a neat setup, I always thought the charge pipe on my car landed awfully close to where a carb hat facing forward would be.Same here struggling with 60ft, this was the Wagooons first ever outing and I quickly found out it couldn’t sit still at the line like a regal with a powermaster and S10 wheel cylinders.
Thursday it went 11.7@119, 11.4@118 at 26psi
Saturday turned it up to 29psi and it picked up 120RPM through the traps (3-4mph) but no time slip printed. I think both cars pushed through the beams, but it looked like a good race in the video.
We also had Rich’s carbed intercooled 82 GN running. He was expecting 13’s but ran 11.7@119 with some breaking up issues at the big end. It’s been fun helping him tune the carb and the msd ignition. We’ll do some valve springs on it and get some 10 sec times from that buggy this summer.
