XFI 2.0 O2 sensor placement

Is there a "sweet spot" in the down pipe where to weld the bung for the O2 sensor? This is a 3" TH style pipe.

Mine are located about 9 inches down stream of the turbos. Been like this for years. Guys are putting them further away now. But I haven't seen any ill effects to this location. I guess you should look to have the sensor in the straightest section of pipe.

The NTK sensors are pretty Robust and can take a lot of heat and C16 abuse, main thing is don't foul them with a pig rich tune?

I’m pretty sure they are best mounted about 11-12” from the turbo . I have had mine here with no issues
