whats a good cam for a P&P heads, 8-8.5:1 compression 4.1 w/a T-72 that has no noticeable lope and a nice powerband from idle to 6000 rpm? if you have actual experience on this subject feel free to chime in.

With a 214/210 and very similar combo, stock block ran 10.70's and stage 4.1 ran 10.50's. Neither was over 25 psi and streetable.

NOTE: NICK I DONT WANT TO GO ROLLER SO SHOULD I GET A CAM WITH A LITTLE MORE DUR TO MAKE UP FOR THE LIFT OR SOMETHING?

Corey, you ever heard of the caps lock button?

not not its located on the left hand side of your keyboard 3rd key up, please push it. then confirm its OFF!

:D

WHAT???? I CANT HEAR YOU ITS TOO LOUD IN HERE.

NICK WHAT ARE YOUR THOTS ON A 224 224 HYD FLAT TAPPET CAM FROM SCHNEIDER? I WAS LOOKING AT THIS CAM. WITH A HOOKER EXHUAST WILL PEOPLE BE ABLE TO TELL ITS CAMMED?

A 224/224 would have a lope, as would a 218/218. The 214/210 roller is very close to stock idle in a 4.1. To meet your requirement there, I would go with a 212/212 flat tappet.

My opinion on a 224/224 cam is you need great flowing heads to take advantage of it. Went from the 224 to a 214 in a 3.8, and pulled lots better up to 6000 RPM. As a matter of fact, it has about a dozen runs on it as it sits on my shelf waiting for use somewhere?:)
