Zee Clip Removal ...200-4R

How is the little z clip removed? The clip that connects the gear pawl to the piston / plunger that goes into the valve body . Mine was installed backwards, therefore I can't get all the gears.

one side goes in the manual valve and the other in the rooster comb/retainer .if it dont shift flip it around its in backwards.

Thanks Chris, I now realize that it's in backwards. What I can't figure out is HOW to get it out to flip it around. Any suggestions.

remove the nail and the 15mm nut and slide the linkage over.this will help.

If you can't get it over far enough by doing as Chris suggested, you'll have to drop the valve body. Not too hard, just keep track of the check balls on top of the separator plate.

thanks guys, I thought the nail needed to come out. I just hope I don't snap it off trying to get it out.
