200-R4 Tool set

I am posting this to gauge interest. The package of tools and information I am looking to sell could potentially set you up in your own business rebuilding 200-4R transmissions. As you well know there are very few highly qualified techs who can properly rebuild a 200-R4 trans.

I have rebuilt MANY 200-r4 transmissions for myself and other Buick club members. I have decided that am no longer rebuilding transmissions. I have nearly every GM "J" tool needed to disassemble, reassemble, test and rebuild a 200-r4 trans. This includes the bench fixture and many other tools that I have custom made to specifically work on these transmissions.

I want to sell these tools as a package only. I will NOT sell any of these tools individually.............so don't ask.

Included are two large bins of new and used 200-R4 rebuild parts. These are NOT the "Hard Parts" like shafts, drums and gear-sets. They are "Soft Parts" like gaskets, seals, pins, spring etc.. These bins include lots of "Extras" that every rebuilder needs. Need a good band anchor? its in there. Need a check ball? or a TV valve spring? Look no further.

The parts include a rebuilt BQ valve body all cleaned and ready to install and a new Raybestos Pro band. There are MANY extra sets of seals so if you ever screw up a seal on assembly, you don't have to buy another seal kit to fix your Fck-up!

Shipping these tools and parts is going to be a costly ordeal. There is alot of metal here!!!!

You should be prepared to pick them up (Michigan) or pay Truck Freight. I have friends going to BG so it may be possible to have them delivered to the GS Nats.

I am probably under-estimating the value of this package deal, but the first $1200 takes the whole package

I have gone thru the bin of tools and I because I have done several 700R4 -4L60 and 4L60E transmissions, (share the same basic pump design) I have most of the tools that absolutely needed to rebuild those units as well.

The first list list below covers only the 200-R4 tools in the package. The second list covers the 4L60/4L60E/700R4 tools. The 700-R4 tools are part of this package Included are two huge bins of spare 200-R4 parts. I'm including all my manuals for the 200-R4 transmission. There are plenty of notes and great info included. The price I'm asking is $1200 and I'm open to reasonable offers.
