I planned on picking up the car last weekend but due to unforeseen circumstances I did not make it. I work 12 hours a day for the next 24 days straight and the next time that I would be able to see the car in person would be the first weekend of November. Buying a modified car sight unseen goes against my better judgement. Asking Lee to hold onto the car untill I can see it is an unrealistic request especially since I have talked to him about his situation and timeline. If the car is still available at that time I will gladly purchase it for the agreed price. If that makes me a "flake" in your mind so be it, eh! Anytime you want to put your money where your mouth is just let me know. Until then shut up and mind your own business!

He told me the whole story and it sounded pretty questionable. I've been buying selling and trading parts and cars with many board members for years and based on my dealings it sounds "flakey". The post was an attempt at humor and sometimes that goes off course. If I offended you I apologize. Maybe you can get someone local you trust to look over the car, kick the tires, hear it run and see if it's still something you want. BTW, Lee is a good guy and a friend of mine so in some way it is my business.
