    Front Mount Intercooler?

Hey Jack its nice to see you come on and defend your products, because theirs lots of smoke out there about intercoolers, help us here on yours. What core do you use? "Do I say mine is the best one out there because I make it, H-ll no, I say it because it is". Elaborate on what it...

V4 versus Cottons stock location IC

"Jack's stretch is a 15-row 1 1/2 that uses original cores. To quote Jack: "We use these cores cause they just plain work" If this is true and its only $30 less then whats the advantage? Cas's is NEW and extruded tube. Plus, making the stock IC with more stock rows is so late 80's. It just...

Fiberglass doors. Anyone running them on the street?

I found a pair of rust free california stock doors for $300, so I could not pass it up about 3 months ago. Hopefully I will get the car back from my uncle in 2 weeks and see how my fabricated 1 1/4 inch extra metal gnx flares came out. I have a 27x12x15 hoosier street slick I would like to...

    Front Mount Intercooler?

Oh no, I did not mean to get the Cottons Crew started up. I plainly said they are similar in size, not exact. But a few inches on bar and plate show minimal gains in the tunnel, only if its in the depth of the core will you see something substatial. As far as comparisions to CAS, first...

    Front Mount Intercooler?

Actually, Jacks and PTE's ic are closer as they are both bar and plate. Just flip a coin between those two, they will perform the same as they are similar in size. Keep your PTE, it will do 10's and go into the 9's like you saw, even though the smaller core is not efficient there. Who knows...

Twins or large single your thoughts

On a 800 hp supra dyno chart comparison, the twins made the power alittle earlier, yet the single made the power band bigger towards the high end. The conscensus was that the single was a better strip turbo and the twin was a better street set up on close to the same cfm. The charts were pretty...

    Choose my cam!

I went with the ESP 280/290 stage 3 cam at $160. And with the power plate, idles like a champ now and does not stop pulling up top. I would agree on the guys on the stock cam, but if your plans are set on getting heads, your high 11 goal will last about as long as that first run at 24 psi...

Propane Injection - Hidden Injection Point?

Hey Jay, was there ever any thought to a plate style injection like a fog plate for the propane? I like the hidden idea and I have a V2. It sounds like it does not matter if the propane travels from the beginning of the up pipe to the tb, unlike alky which is very close to the tb in the up pipe.

What is the best "reasonably priced" Adjustable FP Regulator??

I would only get one that has a true billet lower end. The hybrid pieces with the stock bottom end have a smaller diameter orifice and will only handle around 600 hp and then have problems returning fuel to the tank. The billet bottoms are larger and can go to 750 hp, aside from looking...

lets convert 30 lb injectors to CC's...

The figure used to multiply or divide injectors is 10.5. So, the buicks have 28lb injectors, or 295 cc's each. Its really hard to compare injector sizes to turbo imports as they have smaller engines, and need more fuel to make the same horsepower. So, they need more fuel and bigger...

tire size 275/50 vs 275/60 on stock rims

Yep, the 50 will have more a buldge due to the ratio of tire height compared to section width. You loss tread width on the taller tire also. Its a trade off. I think on the 7 inch rim a 255/60 is the best and safest choice. But, different manufactures have slightly different section...

tire size 275/50 vs 275/60 on stock rims

As for any problems, The stock GN wheels are 7 inchs wide, the 275/50 will have a section width of 10.8 inches and have a side wall buldge of 1.9 inches on each side. The maximum any tire should safely be pushed (street tire) is 1.5 inches of side wall on each end. I would not go...

tire size 275/50 vs 275/60 on stock rims

275/50 & 275/60 = DO NOT DO IT. Those tires are to wide for the stock 7 inch rim. You can put them on, but watching the sidewall buldge out like fat bastard in a sumo diaper is not a worth while risk I would take. I would go with a 255/60 on the stock rim max. There are tons of...

    Anyone running propane injection?

Import, how is your kit performing on a Buick? (boost psi on pump gas, ect) Do you have any chips that you are going to be able to offer with your kit? As you know, the Buicks do not use s-afc's and do not have fuel cut issues so the chips become an important part of tuning the fuel...
