    do not even get on that car until you know exactly what you have and get a scanmaster. do not run that hypertech chip!!!! its loaded with timing and you are problably knocking like crazy...now that is a decent chip with additional octane but for now lose it before you're changing head gaskets...

    eric at tt thinks injectors are maxed out, with the 237 reg i can't add a any fuel pressure, would be interesting to see what i could get with an adjustable......probably need a set of 43lbers..... would really like to get 02's back to the 780 range....what do you think?

    slo 91.....you sure can need more octane at 16 lb. of boost, alot depending on how agressive your chip is (timing)....with a dutt neck, good intake and exhaust you have more air running through that motor, with the stock injectors, you can get lean in a hurry, at least that is my experience.     I use the neck and like it, my car is a basic stock setup and the neck tested to be about 2/10ths quicker.....downside is that the extra 1-2 lbs. of boost may require a bit more octane, i have to run a mix of 94 and 100 unleaded to avoid kr.

    very easy job, first depressurize system by pressing brake pedal about 15 times, then (hardest part of the job) climb under dash and disconnect brake pedal, there is a hairpin type clip holding the shaft to the brake pedal assembly, this part is a real pain, then take off the accumulator ball...

    thanks for the quick response......i have a non adjustable wastegate but had eric burn as much boost into the chip as possible (i know that is limited)....it usually hits 18 for a second in second gear and then settles at 16.....i had never seen 20 before and attributed it to the ambient...

    guys, took my car out for the first time, temps in the 40's, noticed some real low o2 readings at wot....like in the 720 range....usually 770 or so....no kr due to a good infusion of race gas.....boost hits 20 then settles at 16....could the cold ambient temp. affect 02's to that degree, or...
