    Question

Crankshaft Sensor The crankshaft sensor is vital to engine operation. Without it you won't obtain the proper timed spark from your CCCI and the properly timed injection. It won't start and won't run.

    Carpet for 84 GN

New Carpet How's the fit of the carpet you bought from "G auto parts?" I bought a replacement about five years ago, from another outfit, and the molding of the rear portion just didn't fit very well, and I'd like to get it looking like factory original.

    Considering buying: 81 T-Type w/84 GN Engine

New Life Before making any decision or taking any advice, ask yourself a few questions: 1. How mechanically inclined are you? 2. How much time do you have to dedicated to this project? 3. What shape is the car in (mechanically, rust, etc.)? 4. Do you have the patience to look for parts...

    Whats are the differences?

Granted the hot air is slower than the intercooled, but numerically, the 84 and 85 are much more rare than and 86 or 87. I have a '59 Le Sabre convertible with a 364. When it was new, it was a lot cheaper than the Invicta or Electra, and there were fewer made. Now it's the other way around...

i need the correct upper radiator hose.. help!

I've bought what the stores have (this is usually a generic hose made by Gates) that they claim fits all Buick Regals, GNs, Le Sabres and Electras. They don't carry anything else. I suppose the hose fits and won't cause anyone grief as it's sold, it just looks like crap. So I've taken a blade...

Did all hotairs come with a double port wastegate from the factory?

Thanks for attaching the b4black thread. I'm going to cap both the 84 & 85 right side vacuum ports and see what happens.

What is the F-body replacement radiator for an 85 GN?

Radiator I lived in California during the 80's when I bought my 84 and 85. I still have both of them, and they both have two row. Do you know if that was unique because of California smog laws?

    Breathers and Oil

PCV Valve - Breather Hot Six, are you running with the PCV line blocked off and just breathers? I'd like to do that if it doesn't cause a bottom end problem with the rope seal.
