i am doing a hybrid swap in my s-10 and i have the v-groove pulleys now just need crank,water pump and alt. can i just replace them with the 87 pulleys so i have the nice serpintene belt or would i have to replace my balancer with the 86-87 one? i hope they are a direct bolt on replacement...

ok the 2 long ones were about 1/8 inch too long and the 4 outside the valve cover on the bottom were also 1/8 too long but the 2 outer ones next to the 2 long middle ones fit fine? anyway i talked to mr. bill at anderson performance and he said the blocks were different some how 84-dn than...

where can you buy ARP head bolts for an 84 GN? the ones for 85-87 are too long.. i tried a set from anderson perf. i am going to have to get him to order me a set if no one knows any place else local to baltimore to get them chris

is there any machine work required to install these or can you just bolt them on and go?:confused:

i was ordering an oil pan gasket for my engine and just out of curiosity i looked in the cam section at Advanceautoparts.com and for an 87 gn cam and lifter kit it says this i hope this is one bad ass cam for that much money i better go 7sec 1/4 mile times with just a cam LOL must be a TYPO i...

yes i would rather girdle the block but i hear that its a pain in the butt to seal and i hear that the oil pan studs break alot and the last thing i need is an oil leak, correct me if i am wrong thanks guys

i just bought that kit from summit it was 378 shipped with .030 over hyperutectric pistons i tried to get forged but the summit sales rep said they didnt offer it....it has all gaskets and bearings not one gasket missing very complete kit, just wish it came with the steel shim's and not the...

what will have to be resized? the main caps and rod caps? how much will the machine work cost does anyone know? and the price on the bolts?

does anyone know if arp makes rod and main bolts for the gn motors? if so can you please let me know where to get them,part#'s and price thanks :confused:
