    need help: door window

John, What I quoted you for was for worst Case. It was everything that you may need to replace. Also there was a core charge involved in that price as well. If you would like to call back the owner or myself would be glad to break down the prices for you, and also see exactly what you need to...

    Help!!!! 466748-9005

If it is measuring 59mm on the inducer on the compressor wheel it could be a 6031 turbine wheel Exducer (smallest part of turbine wheel) would be 57mm, 6052 turbine wheel would measure 62mm or a 6076 turbine wheel would measure 65mm. Most likely it would be a 6031 or a 6052 on a Buick. Hope this...

    Help!!!! 466748-9005

It possibly may be a 3231 or a TE32 which is a 55mm Compressor wheel. If the wheel rubbed it could have measured 54 instead of 55.

Precision Billet 6765- What are the benefits of different covers?

Are you planning on going with a Journal bearing or ball bearing? With it being a street car I would recommend going with the 6266 with the S cover 4" inlet 2.5" outlet. This turbo will get you where you want to be at the track and also be very fun on the street. What size stall do you have and...

Who wants to help a noob? Wanting to learn... Biggest turbo option on stock motor?

On a stock block with a stock stall you can go as large as a TA49 or a 3431, you can also get away with a 4431 with a stock converter. For best results on the 4431 a 2800 stall is recommended. There are entry level turbos that are very reasonably priced and come with a 1 year warranty from...

    Compressor housing o-ring?

Bison, You are correct the Garrett style E cover or Stock compressor cover did not have a O-ring. The new billet turbos are now designed with the same back plate so you can swap from a E cover to an S cover without having to send the turbo back to have the backplate changed out. The older style...

    Compressor housing o-ring?

I used to work for Precision and the E covers do have a O-ring 3" inlet 2" outlet. I know that it does help seal the compressor cover to the back plate. The S covers 4" inlet 2.5" outlet, do not have the O-rings. I know Precision will sell the O-ring separately for a few bucks.

    G Body ported elbow problems....

I worked at Precision Porting the turbine housings and the elbows in the past. I now work for G body Parts and I do the porting on the wastegate holes and the elbows. I might get a little crazy to make everything line right up but I do not get that crazy. Possibly you are missing this? Turbo...
