I went to the track yesterday. When I launched the tires spun so I lifted, When I did the car died and I can not get it to restart. It will start for a second and then die. If I give it throttle when it tries to start it will backfire really loud and die. Any help will be appreciated.
I am considering a ta block and was wondering what all is involved in running one of these blocks. How much machine work is involved. Can I run a stroker kit from gn1, and will my parts off my 109 bolt up like my ta headers and 14 bolt heads. any input is appreciated.
I will be running it this saturday at the Buick ford shootout in noble, so I don't have time to do the complete hg job. I've always heard you can usually get through a race on a cometic gasket by re-torquing. maybe wishful thinking but I don't have many options.
I am running cometics, and when boost goes over 22#'s I hear some popping like the head is lifting. Does re-torquing the studs usually help or is it to
late after you hear this noise. Not getting any knock.
