ok guys here goes maybe someome can shed some light. i got a tranny from a local builder here....kevlar bands, billet servo, shift kit and the whole nine yards and it is a BRF trans. anyway i drive it arond break it in and then go to launch it. car stalls at 1500 with no boost and thats it so im like damn wrong convertor in it. now at this point the tranny shifts nice and hard and everyhign is perfect. i then get another convertor from him he order up a 3000 stall from cottons. i get hte ocnverotr put it at a local tranny shop on a friday. all is right hte car launches hard and spools up and everyhintg, still hits hard too. satruday comes aorund i tkae a pass with it and its perfect im a happy camper. sunday goes and all is right still. monday comes and problems start to show up. i notice the shift is a little softer now. so i get a little worried but not too uch. i go out that night to some street races and all hell breaks loose with hte tranny. i do a burnout and hte thing is straingin. i apool it up and launch it racing another car and it goes good then i hit second and it flairs up and third hits ok. after the race driving normal you cant feel the frist to second shift but you can on hte 2-3 and 3-4. so i go to drop from third to second on a rol and it just revs up. first to second feel like on gear with no pressure or foot to the floor it flairs. i get it home and leave it alone. fluid is full, no burnt smeel or burnt look to the fluid. could the convertor have been instaleld wrong or is something out of wack or did the tranny toast itself cause the builder cant buikld a tranny to handle a little power? the tranny is 3 motnhs old at the most and the convertor was 3 days old. any ideas guys im pissed and confused and frustrated!!!! thanks
