On a track that was chunking up bad with only a 1.69 60ft:rolleyes: There was big bald spots of concrete:rolleyes: The next day they prepped it and i went 1.46 but i had the race gas in by then:D Better but not perfect:D That was 16# boost and 20deg timing ,MT streets, full exhaust with no help from alcohol:)
So i guess now i can say its a 10sec street trim car;)

Gene,

You suck. I hate you. Oops!! Am I talking out loud again? I hate it when I do that. ;) Maybe if I could keep my Buick running for more than 2 months at a time I might give you some competition.

Congrats Dude :)

Neal

Its now at 3600# with me in it and 126 mph:) I went across the scales at Mission a few weeks ago:cool: Im sure i could have been closer to 10.50 with a better 1.4 60ft instead of spinning with the 1.6

Out of the box GN1 heads(Not 'R,s) 218/220 flat tappet cam,96# injectors,Felpro,76 Q trim bb turbo,3,590 crank, carilo rods, wet sump,ATR headers,S1 block,Tony Boloni V2 FM,70mm TB ,200 trans(No trans brake),8.5 rearend with girdle, spool and TA cover:) My best pass was 9.97 on race gas at 137.8 MPH that weekend with the stereo playing thru full exhaust on DOT tires getting 17 MPG

Thanks for the combo. What converter are you runnung? Did you really have the stereo cranked up?:) :)

Congratulations Geno, you are the man.
How much do you think you could pick up with a killer
port job on your heads???

9" AC NL TC with just over 3000 stall
I had a small cubb going LOL:D
I think the GN1,s flow around 220 out of the box.
I dont want to get in anymore trouble for running 9,s so im going to leave the heads the way they are for now at least. I have almost 10,000 miles on the car and the motor has been in for over 2yrs :) I drive that car like i hate it and raced it 5 weekends in a row this summer. Im sure i have over 250 passes at the track and countless passes on the street. Its been a good street car that can run 9,s and the wife still drives it to the store sometimes:eek:
