Found a GNX with 150,000 miles on it. What do you guys think it's value is ? I was thinking upper 20's to low 30's. One owner car,no accidents.

A lower mile GNX will go for 25-30k. With a 150k miles I'd be hard pressed to pay over 20k, probably wouldn't pay over 15k.

with no documentation and the book/jacket and other gnx stuff, i wouldnt give 15K for it unless it was VERY well cared for.

Depends...

Like stated before...if documentation was shown, and the owner was methodical about the car's maintainence, I'd happily for over 15K for it...After all, it's 1/547...

Have you been watching E-Bay lately ? 25-30k ? Where ? 52k miles just sold for 41500.00. 30k miles sold for 44k.

I was just gonna write same thing twinvipers. I cannot remember last time I ever saw a GNX sell for mid 20's. Its been a while.. Herb was the last guy to 'steal' a GNX.. thats for sure.. it ain't happening anymore. Ill bet that 150k mile X will fetch well over 20k..

you gotta be careful with ebay pricing. alot of times the deals fall through. also people are screwing around and bidding up cars for various reasons and some without the intention of buying them.

i have been watching the gn/gnx bidding for a while and alot of the bidders are the same people.

seems like alot of "dealer" type names.

Everyone I check on E-Bay after the bidding is gone. My friend just sold his 3k miles car for 55,000.00. I know of a 30 mile car that the guy wants 70K.

If you see any 20-30K with 60K miles or less ,I'll buy every one.

D@mn, I remember 4 or 5 years ago Kirban had an all original 175,000 mile GNX for $13,000. It showed some miles, but was in decent condition, and no rust. Should've jumped on that...

Clearly this years Barret Jackson Auto Auction set the pace for this years Muscle Car market....It is VERY Strong!

Grab those GNX's while you can...as soon as these cars become 20-25 years old they will SKYROCKET!

i think the trend now is the lates 40somethings and people in their 50's are buying cars from their teen years...maybe their 1st car or a car that represents some special place for them. so like me, the 87 gn was out when i was a senior in high school and it was the car i wanted from then on out.

as people in their 30's now get older, the prices will rise because the demand for them from people that maybe have the means then to buy the dream car that they had from their teens. i think you will see mint IROC, SS, 442, GN, Formula, GTA, T-Type, and GT prices shoot up because of this.

and the GNX is the most collectable from that era just like the zl1 vette and z28 was back in the 60's.

this is just my opinion, and maybe i might be incorrect, but im hoping not, cause im gonna hold onto my original gn till i see the prices shoot up then i might consider selling it. until then, i will enjoy looking at it and taking it out on nice days to local car shows and trailing it to some bigger events.

Does anyone have an estimate of how many GNX's are left ?

gnx registry might have a number.

btw, your tt viper, is it a heffner car?

Yes, it is a Heffner car. Jason and I were testing it for the first time on Tuesday and ran that 9.45@157MPH. 2nd fastest trap speed for any Viper ever. He thinks we have a 9.0 in it. Still 100% streetable with a 6 speed and A/C.
