I was reading through some bulletins and ran across TSB#85-5A-5 and it says "The Powermaster Brake System went into production during the week of March 4,1985 on the above models(refer to Section 5D4 in the 1985 Buick Chassis Service Manual). The above models are the 1985 Regal "T" Type Models(SFI Turbo Engines VIN Code 9). The GN was an option on the T-Type so this applies to all 85 TRs built after 3-4-85. I just thought I'd pass this on in case anybody needed it for future reference. If you have a 85 with the PM double check the build date. Maybe the bulletin is wrong. I dont think there was a seperate code on the SPID label if it had the PM or not.
And the 85 PM is different than the 86-87 unit. It has a smaller reservior.
