I found out Friday that underwriting from my insurance company approved my GN for Classic car status and the insurance rate dropped to somewhere around mid 300s per year with full coverage & zero deductible. Of course I can't use it as a daily driver, but I'm insuring 3(1 is the wife's) cars so I was thrilled. Plus it's resting until about March or april and I barely drive it.

The second is a dent repair person came today and removed the dings from my driver door and the creases from my hood and now the GN looks even better. You could barely notice them, but I didn't like them so for $80, they were removed. :D

Which company!? I've fought with state farm for 6 months to get my GN on the classic/antique rating. A bunch of cars that I've owned in the past they had no trouble rating them ('84 Vette, '87 Iroc 'vert, '87 Fiero GT and even an '87 Firebird). I assumed that the rating went thru and didn't drive the GN that much because of the milage rating, but then I get a bill for more than I was paying:mad: . They won't rate it classic unless it's an actual GNX:mad: . Thought about Grundy, but a buddy of mine wrecked his street rod out in Nevada at some show and they want to give him $10k for damage and most estimates saw $25-$30k......

Congrats on your rating though, glad to see someone getting a break!;)
