Hey guys, i just extended here in korea till march 2006, wich i will leave as a civillian. oh, if you know anyone in the army, tell them to come to korea as most people think it sucks, but its actually pretty sweet. ill answer any questions they might have as well. sucks though, i was really looking forward to bustin out the we4 this fall, but i guess ill just have to keep it in storage. oh well, oh, and i got $5100 to stay here for this extra hear and a half, cant beat those odds!

of course south korea, we arent whoopin those commies yet. yeah im right on the edge of seoul, and at the end of the year im moving to the middle of seoul. also i went to the olympic stadium and surrounding area this weekend. must say it isnt much different from america in that area. very nice. alot if it is improving fast though. ive saw alot of change just in the 7 months ive been here. oh, and if your single, ive never met a girl as nice as any over here. in fact, ive been seeing one for 3 months now, and have never been happier. but as they say, its not for everybody.
i did a tour in korea, 200 - 2001, camp humpherys, when i was there it was prety getto, but as i was leaving they were building new barracks and getting cable and dsl lines, i can't imagine korea with all that stuff, all i did when i was there was drink sojo and stuff, the only bad thing about korea is being away from family and the korean airlines plane on the way home for midtou.

He said that the Korean women are expert at making you think whatever you want to think; and the second your money runs out or they get US citizenship, they are gone.

Man you got to be the biggest idiot on earth. I was stationed in Korea about a year ago so you can't run that life is lovely crap on me. And I was stationed in Camp Stanley (2nd I.D.) You probably chillin down south blowing all your money like a idiot. (So sad) Let it be known the girl you're so called "Happy" with, is probably under, age and a prostitute. Most of the woman around the bases are. Most soldiers call them "Drinky Girls". With very limited english she has, she will say anything to get in your pockets. She will lead you to believe you are the God of all Gods, just to get that oh mighty dollar. And God forbid you really blow your clutch. You'll tune your lips up and kiss that nasty creature. What you don't know is you just took a taste of every other nasty, horny, home sick soldier that had a dollar to spend. And whatever you do don't let all the blood rush from your head in excitement then go out and marry her. You think you're going to come home and show her off to all the cool friends you obviously don't have, but when you do they're going to laugh at you and say..."Damn where's her tits? Man get that Junkie out of here" Contrary to the movie Full Metal Jacket they don't "Love you long time" When you get here with her she's going to divorce you, take half of what you got, and beat feet on you. I'm sorry to have to break this on you but hey..... someone needed to. Man save your money, come home by you a six pack of real (un watered down beer) and go to the beach and find you a nice Carmen Electra look a like, (Save your 5 Grand) and spend up all her money. (Dag I'm assuming you couldn't get many women in the U.S.) Be like me.... stay smart Don't become a victim. I've seen too many idiots fall for that crap and end up broke, burnt, and alone. yea, you gotta watch them juicy girls, i never gave them a cent, it was just soo sad, but i heard that they craked down on the importing of russians and broke down the juicy girl trade, don't know if it ever really made a difference though, one thing that all of my buddies realized when they extended, is that all of the freinds that you made, didn't stay, and then your left with a bunch of newbees to chill with for a year, in the chinook world we spend alot of time in korea, and no one that has ever extended liked it, to include my friends with korean wives, or more properly korean ex wives

Man I gotta keep it real with him. Come on now we all know being in the military and being stationed at korea isn't a wonderful thing. Ok you take a trip there for a couple of days, do a little shopping, see the sites, pass out off some soju, and come home... that's cool. But to be stuck there, surrounded by poopy smelling rice patties, and brag about a 13 year old toothless hooker.....thats not cool. Grant it you get 5 grand but damn you spending it on the hooker! Besides that being stationed over there in some camps depending where you're stationed, you're not even allowed to drive. And even if you could there aren't any american made cars there, not even a Pinto! Man it's time for you to come home. I hope your not trying to use that foreign protection. You just might get caught up. You f-ed up buddy! (Boy it's sure feels good to go home to Moms cooking!)

alright guy, so for all your speculating. i am at camp stanley, 6/37 FA, and ive spent 10 dollars on a drinking girl since ive been here, and thats cause i was drunk as hell. and about the 13 year old hooker, yeah, shes 26, and is an accountant at a firm in seoul, i cant pronounce the name of it. has a bachelors in accounting, and usually wont let me pay for anything. and no, its not imaginary, ive picked her up form there twice, from her own office. and get this, she speaks very good english, and has been to america 3 times on vacation. and as far as my freinds all leaving, actually my 7 closest freinds are staying as well. in fact, this fall 4 of us are moving to yongsan to the same company again. and i have had plenty of bad a** girls over my years. so just cause you cant get anything to work and dont know how to live somewhere else, doesnt mean other people cant make the best of it. sorry if i offended your obviously strong opinion of something, chill out

oh yeah and about the "no american cars" over here, on stanley alone, theres a 96 z28, a 99 z28, and 01 firebird formula, and a 01 black vette convert that i can think of just at the moment. also the comment of spending my money on a hooker, most of my cash has went to my WE4, and this 5k is going to my business to trade the 01 duramax i have for a new one.

Man, some things just don't change. I was stationed in Kwang Ju 71-72 as a tenant on a ROK base. Most of the married guys hung out in the ville oustide the base and fell victim to the "I love you too much GI" that the girls layed on them Most just wanted to go to the NCO club to gamble, give most of what you paid them to mama san and HOPE you would marry them and take them stateside. A lot of the older GI's that had a young, attractive yobo, extended. Only American women I got to see was the Red Cross Doughnut Dollies that came around, maybe monthly. It felt good to see round eyes again when I came back to get discharged in 72. The Air Force wanted to pay me $8100 to re-enlist then, but I walked. Never looked back.
