I have an '86 Cutlass Salon with the 200-4R.In the next few weeks,I plan on installing a 403.So my questions are..........

1.What exactly are the differences from a "regular 200-4r" and a Grand National "200-4r"?

2.Exactly what mods should I hsve done during the rebuild(besides PTS shift kit),any certain type of internal parts or whatabout a GN servo? What exactly does that do?

3.Roundabouts how much should I expect to spend for a rebuild of this type?

The main diff,s are alve bodies run of the mill are not performance oriented, BR, CZ, KZ, and some others have been designed for handling more HP, the br's also have larger servo, but should go with largest billet one. The servo is need to apply the band for second gear, also go with wide band and stronger anchor pin, PTS shift kit and PR press. reg. system, hardened stator and 10 vane pump w/ hard rings these are all a bare min. for rebuild check this link for specifics. http://www.2004rperformancecenter.com/faq/display_faq.asp?faq_id=4
