When I removed the front pump the little solenoid screen fell out and I just want to verify where it goes. Check out the pic. I'm pretty sure it goes in the hole where the red arrow is pointing but I want to make sure. That hole has a recess in it and the screens seems to fit in there. When installing the pump do you just load the screen up with trans assembly lube so it doesn't fall out.

I didn't put a screen back in. I figured I'd be changing the fluid enough that it wasn't needed. Your feelings might vary.

It goes in the hole with the recess machined in it. If it won't stay in just put a little grease on it to hold it in when assembling.

200-4R Front Pump.jpg Duh, I forgot to attach the pic, so it goes in the hole that the red arrow is pointing to, correct?
