I searched on this. I understand the crossmember is differant wich is no biggie.

converter pattern same as chevy?

are the bop 350's as strong as the chevy versions?

not worried about overdrive ,just want a strong tranny with out the weight of a 400

im weighing out my options here. so any input appreciated.

Don't do it..

1)You will not be happy. Remember, the gear ratios and spread changes also.

2)For the record, the BOP 350's are every bit as strong as the Chevy's in fact the way the bolt pattern is they are actually stronger.

Just my opinion on the first statement. The second is fact.

Since the crossmember is differant you may need to modify or run new exhaust.I just found this out changing my 350 turbo for a 200r4.If shifter is located differantly on the other trans you may need to modify that also.Remember anytime you are customizing something you are always going to hit some troubles along the way.The best thing is to just take your time and do it rite the first time.Have fun!
