2004r Billet Drum Availability

we are continuously recieiving calls for forward drums.we just sent out the last few that were on order today and are right now (9:49 pm) running another 75 pieces.the machines are screaming in the backround.i have 40 pieces already on order and will have 35 remaining from this run if we dont loose any.if anyone needs drums phone in and reserve them.pricing will be $349.00 this time around any quantity.if all goes well they will be at the heat treater by wednesday and can shipp my next friday or monday the latest.this is providing all goes as planned.the shafts were blanks today at 3 pm and we are already on part 5 of the 9 part operation it takes to make them from start to finish.

I doubt any have failed. I don't think the direct clutches would hold enough power to cause one of the billet shafted drums to fail.

Good to know. Now that I have my trans brake in I will find the next weakest link in my trans.

2 of the first ones during development made 4 or 5 five years ago we twisted the shafts trying to get the heat treat right.i have not seen one returned with a broken shaft.

phase 7 is complete.now we must turn down the final diameter and then cut the splines.also anyone who has quantity of 5 and up stock forward drums can send them in ill pay 8.00 a piece for them.

splines and final drilling is done.parts are going to the heat treater tomorrow and should be at the welder thursday or friday.this means we are on target so far for monday shipping.

Thats good news, my car has been at janis transmission for 6 weeks waiting on the parts,it would be nice to pick my car up on the weekend,thats the only part we are waiting on....
