Our original design incorporated the use of a 87 Honda Internal lu solenoid to apply the transbrake.The sources for quality versions of this solenoid have not been able to supply us with any more solenoids.This has caused us to revise the housing and mount the solenoid on the side instead of the top.However the replacement solenoid is under $20.00 as compared to $115.00.The revised mounting location in the housing was redesigned and tested over the last 72 hours and is a working unit.We will have several available in the next week or so.With this change we can assure that in the event of a solenoid failure we will be able to have them on hand.With that said lets look at the pros and cons of the design in general.
PROS.
NO DEEP PAN REQUIRED.
Fits in place of the stock accumulator housing.
Applies the direct clutch only for brake function in manual lo only,so no accidental apply.
Apply is instant due to the reduction in path volume.
NO NEED TO SEND US YOUR VALVE BODY WORKS WITH A STOCK UNDRILLED ,UNMODIFED CASTING.
USES 4L60E SHIFT SOLENOID.
INCLUDES CUSTOM SEPERATOR PLATE.
INCLUDES CKPERFORMANCE CNC .555 BOOST VALVE.
ORIGINAL DESIGN IN USE FOR 7 YEARS AND A PROVEN PERFORMER.

With that being said let me state that although marketing gimmicks claim 000 release on transbrake we all know this is simply not true.We have however optimized release making it function as best as we can with a pilot orifice circuit.Bleed hole in the drum is mandatory for quick dump.What we have done is reduce the hole in the drum and add 2 additional dumps elsewhere in the circuit for maximum performance.Im certain it will be a great addition to your turbo cars if you dont have one already.Anyone with the original design can send it in with the original receipt and I will cahnge it out to the new housing at no charge.
