I know i know its only jun and the event isn't till november. I'm just getting excited like every year. anyways anyone else as excited as i am. I got alot of work to do to my car before the event but its hard when im out in cally and the car is in tucson. my to do list is

Install the whole HRPARTS suspension (sway bar, adj. uppers, lowers, lower braces, cross member mount)

order slicks, new laptop that stays in the car for the xfi, install my oil/fuel pressure loggging for the xfi and a few more things that i cant remember right now.

im just looking forward to the event. That is all for now

new slicks? what the hell did you do with the ones you just got?

with any luck, my car should be in the 11's by then:biggrin:

buickbert

I'm running mt et street radials right now but want to get a full slick. I'm upgrading the rear suspension this year and hoping for some better 60 foot times. I would really like a low 11 this year. With the new dp/wastegaate setup I should be faster as it spool super fast now and pulls nice and strong with no creep. O also on my list of parts is stock moog replacement springs and qa1's on all 4 corners

I'm looking forward to seeing you there!

even if I do attend just to check out all the babes!
I meant cars LOL

I never leave home with out it.

Lee,
If you don't bring your car will you be on the video camera again?
Jeff

so yes, I'll have the camera, car or not.
maybe there could be a few surprises this time!

This year it looks like the track is also open Friday night, Nov. 27 for the local racing program!

The schedule and the web site for Speedworld Drag Strip is here:

Speedworld Dragstrip - Calendar

For any racers running faster than 10.0, you will need to have an engine diaper or belly pan on your car. This is a NHRA track, and they enforce all their safety rules as most all tracks do as well.

Nick, would you know where to get a diaper for our cars? Do you have to pull the motor to get it installed?
Jeff

Jeff, we have developed a belly pan for the turbo Buick.

A diaper is a real "challenge" on the turbo car because of the crossover pipe.

The diapers I checked into were twice the price, and terribly more complex to install and remove, not to mention all the heat retained by the engine:mad:

With only 3 bolts, our pan can be installed and removed in just minutes.;)

Call me, and I will be glad to discuss details with you.

For the guys without 9 sec. cars, it ends your Buick "marking" its place in the garage!
