2010 Midwest Buick Challenge TSM Win

Had a great time with everyone way up there at Osceola, IN. Thanks for having a southern boy up there and showing me all the hospitality that you guys did.


Big thanks to Lloyd and crew. They are top notch and have fun with the event and make sure all the participants are taken care of!

The track was hooking enough to break the sprag on the first pass of the day. I was still able to race with just 1st and 3rd gear and qualify with a 9.35 @ 147. When I ran Walt, I let 1st go a little bit longer than I should have and had to play catch up for most of the track to pass him for the win. Walt has an awesomely quick car and for all the iron head guys it's definately FAST! The margin was only .030 of a second! I wish more people would have shown up to support the event because it was fun.


I have to thank all the guys that help me out with the car and support me for these events.

Actually, I have a spare pump and direct drum with a sprag but because of the rain on sat I wouldn't have been able to fix it then race that quick.

Luckily, I could still race the car although not at top performance..

Wow Jason, Sorry to hear your drive home was so unpleasant. It was a pleasant surprise to see you attend the event. Your dedication to racing this class is amazing. That makes three final round appearances in three events this year, it is looking like you have wrapped up the 2010 TSM championship.

It was also nice To see Walt attend this event again. His car always seems to perform well at this event. I think that is why Osceola Drag Way painted the new bathrooms to match his car:biggrin::biggrin: Loyd and Shari also do a great job in my opinion (the track definately had some teeth in it).

That race between you and Walt sure was a good one. You guys put on one hell of a show for those of us watching. It looked to me like you also got a real nice view off Walt's car, through your new windshield after you pulled second gear in the finals. Very nice photo you just nipped him at the end.

You and Walt both laid down some nice passes. I am still learning how to go fast with these cars. Wish we could have given you both some better competition.

Any way........ Huge Congrats Jason on the win. You truly deserve it.
