Reds,
I would love to see a dyno graph of your combo and see your TQ and HP numbers. More importantly, where your HP and TQ peaks are with the 204/214.

I'd like to see one too but I never went to no dyno

the cam pulls from dead idle to 6000 with no problem but it is coming off its power band at that level I'm showing mph per second starting to drop off after 5400 but is really starting to drop by 5800

my 10.41 at 133 pas was shifted at 5850 rpm

I have a brand new, never run, Lunati 225/235 cam flat tappet hyd. cam that I don't intend to use. No lifters, just the cam I'll let it go cheap if you are interested.

With 3.8 motors, even with good flowing alum heads, we found 224/224 about the max for good bottom end pull. Even then we do the cam advanced about 4 deg. More duration than that seems to slow it down off the line. We use the 110 LSA too.

Dave Bamford eclipsed 138MPH with his PT71-GTQ during Test&Tune at Bowling Green. Recently posted was Ryan Guy going 136 with a PT-88. Note that Roy Garcia went 136 with iron heads and a 70mm blower.

I asked Lee Thompson what he liked and I bought a 208-224. Worked good in the stock motor, hope it works good for this one too.

I dont find them out of reach but my problem is that with buying another house and trying to step my business up another level it will be most likely early next season by time I get all the new mods done and tuned and these guys will probly reach 140 when the weather cools off this fall

so far its looking like I'll have to push it 140 mph to get up with the top dogs ..:(

oh yeah I'm gonna attempt it ;)

We took a Com catalog, and with highly ported iron heads, putting in 3.8 and 4.1 #, the best cam was their 218--224 with .504 and .520 lift. To hell with what lots of people say, this cam WORKS.

Where is this cam available?

TIA!! :)
