I have a pair of these tires on a pair of wheels with a horrible offset that sticks out of the wheel well...

What size wheel would i need and what offset to get them tucked up underneath my car? I dont want to notch my frame and really dont want to cut into my quarter panels either!

Or would it just be better to sell these tires and get something that will work better for my car?

I have 26x10.5x15's on a set of Champ 500's. I need to get the dimensions off the inside rim. They do not stick out at all.

never really got the answer I was looking for, so bring this back to the top...

What offset/ backspacing etc for these tires to fit correctly under my car??? Also how wide a rim?

3.5 Bs

I have that size tire now (drag T/A's) on a Weld Prostar 15x8 with 3.5 back spacing. Plenty of room from the inside of the tire to the frame.

you could also go with 4.5 BS but you'll probably need a wheel spacer to move it away from the frame. No spacer needed if you're running 3.5BS....at least on my sled anyway. HTH.

If your going to use them for street driving, 3.75" to 4" back spacing on an 8" rim should do the trick. I think 3.5" might bring them close to the unrolled fender wells and rub on a nice bump. I use a M.T 28-10.5-15 drag slick on a 8" rim with 3.75" backspacing for the track, work perfect. No notching, or rolled lips, and I can drive them in the street, but carefully. But I believe my tires bulge out a little more than the 26-10.5" tires.
Do a search in this forum, should get a lot of feedback on this.

Thanks...

I pretty much needed that backspacing info because I want to get some rims for the car...

Thanks alot!

NothinYet", a wheel with a rear spacing between 3.5" and 4.25" should work. I have some slicks 10.5"x28.5" mounted on 8" rims with a rear spacing of 3.5" and they're ok for track use, but not for street driving. They do rub on turns like when I'm getting back on the return road...but my tires are taller than yours, so this is why I think they should be ok with your tires which are lower...

I run 28x11.50 et streets on some 8 in wide telstars with 4 in backspacing. they fit perfect.
