275/50R15 mt d.r. and dragracetire.com question

Does anyone run the 275/50r15 MT d.r. Do they rub w/ stock wheels? Also, monte/ dragracetire.com has a good price in the sale area of this site, has anyone bought from him? I see he has only been a member for two weeks. Any info appreciated.

I have a pair of 275-50 15 MickeyThompson ET Street DRs mounted on 8 inch wheels with 4 inch backspacing. They are great tires and do not rub on my GN. I have gotten 1.64 - 60 ft. times in 44 degree weather, and my variation due to launches is virtually non-existant.

In keeping with the recommendation to not mount tires much more than 2 inches wider than the rims, I personally would be a little nervious with this wide of tire on stock 7 inch wheels.

I haven't used the M/T DR's, but I have used BFG 275/50 DR's on a 7" wheel.

I had to run a very small spacer on one side, I think it was a 7/16", but other than that no rubbing.

The car went 1.65 60's on them.
