3/4 accumulator setup

I cant remember which spring chris sent me for the 3/4 accumulator, does the one on the right look right?

Also the the new pin that was sent in my kit is considerably shorter than my stock one (1.770" vs 1.950") ?? it seems like it would just about fall out when butted up against the plate?

Both pins fit loosley in the bore. OK?

Anything wrong with using the original pin just to be sure?

I would use the longer pin to avoid the "falling out" possibility. I would also use the tighter wound spring for a nice 4th. I usually use the 727 accumulator spring in 4th and it looks almost the same as your spring on the right. It will provide a nice firm 4th but not harsh. Don't ever eliminate the 4th spring as sometimes cars that are locked up and go into 4th can blow the back window out.

The old pin is the same diameter as the new one, just has some slight wear marks on it.
