3.8 to 4.1 made easy

ok for all you ppl who what to do a 3.8 to 4.1 swap this is what you need.


1) 4.1 intake
2) 4bbl carb (preferably Q-Jet)
3) 4bbl air cleaner
4) ecm (if you use electric Q-Jet)
5) intake to alternator bracket brace (different than the 3.8)
6) cruise actuator bracket (angled different than 3.8)
7) the linkage that screws into the cruise acuator (L shaped)
8) 4.1 gasket set and carb gasket
9) 5/8 fitting and vaccuum grade hose (for brake booster)
10) maybe thermostat housing (i used my 3.8 one)
11) crankcase/air/fuel filters, pcv valve/grommet
12) temp idiot light sensor, coolant temp sensor, ported vaccum swich
13)luck j/k

i got my intake carb and aircleaner for $50

also if you have leaky valve covers now is the time to repair this
