3" Caprice/ Impala MAF & Translator, first impressions

Single best bolt-on upgrade for my car so far as driveabilty is concerned! Very easy to install. No wire loom included, though. My stock MAF was cracked on the filter side, but still functioning, I think?

On the first drive my car felt crisper, came on to boost sooner, & had better low end throttle response.

Next steps are a PLX WB o2, Powerlogger, PTE SLIC, TT 6.1 chip, PTC nl converter, Husek trans & cooler, HR Poly trans mount, & Bison built CEA6262.

A lot of people have reported that wheel spin and other false knock goes away too.

Yep, the MAF and translator were the best upgrades to drivability for mine also, tip in hesitation GONE!

About to put mines in tom. Just put in tt chip w 60#ers and car idled beautifully and ran smooth.. cant wait for maf and trans tom..
