Upsized turbo (TE66), trouble getting more than 5-7# on launch w/the 3200 stall. Have no problem w/having the converter re-stalled to 3800. Anyone running this high of a stall on the street, and are you having any issues? I have heard it suggested that it may take too much rpm just to get the car rolling, but the 3200 is pretty transparent on the street. I can't imagine that a 400 rpm increase in stall suddenly makes the car undrivable..??
The converter is a Midwest 9" w/12"lockup.
BTW, by street, I mean just fun driving, not used as transportation.
Thanks in advance.
