4" air filter part numbers

Does anybody know what part number the K&N air filter is that members use that has the 4" opening to use with a Cold air kit from TR Custom parts?

I got one that didn't have the air filter with it (I didn't buy this set up from TR Custom parts - that is why I do not have the filter).

Any other 4" opening air filters that members use?

Knfilters.com has a product search that allows you to specify filter opening, diameter, shape, length.. the whole nine yards. There are probably a few dozen filters on there with 4" openings.

What is better: A Round Tapered air filter or a Round Straight air filter? This is for the cold air system.

The reason I am asking is because of the following:

K&N filter #RE-0870 is a Round Tapered air filter with a 1 year limitied warranty for $46.99 (this has a 4" flange and is 9" long with a 6" base and 4 5/8" top)

and

K&N filter #RD-1460 is a Round Straight air filter with a lifetime warranty for $48.88 (this has a 4" flange, 9" long and is 7" in diameter)

...basically the same as K&N...except they have a higher CFM rating and are cheaper...

The S&B is the better filter.
