I have the 9xlt

9k lbs, extra long, extra tall.
188 in long, and goes 78in under the ramps high. and 100in between posts ( trailer fits between posts)
if your gonna put a truck on it, get the longer one!
I love it, set up is critical, ( easy but very important)
no idea why I layed on my back for so many years.
I pd just under $2k and picked it up at wharehouse.
assembled it by myself, in little over a day.
I say do it! you'd be surprised where the "so called " made in USA parts come from!

Doing certain repairs on a drive on rack can be a pain sometimes. If you don't get the airjack option to lift the tires off the rack, then don't even bother.

I use 2 bottle jacks...

and secure it with jack stands. in fact had car up on 4 stands, just as secure as being on the ground.
also use a adj single post jack, for individual wheels.

I have a direct lift 7. It was the 7000 lb addition. Purchased from greg smith equipment. I also use it to store my wifes GT and my T. Great investment. The low cost of the lift does not mean low quality. Very well built.

I have the Direct Lift ProPark 8+ from Greg Smith, picked it up from there warehouse in Deleware with the car trailer.
Put it together myself(1-2 days) not that hard and would have been easier with better directions.

Like cruzn57 said get the extended height version if you have the ceiling height, definetly worth any extra $'s

Definetly like mine and will eventually get a 2nd one soon. Mine is mostly for storage but also for working on the cars.

If you plan on getting one from GregSmith look on Ebay as they used to list them there cheaper then what you pay for directly at their warehouse:mad:

This is why you also NEED an Asymmetric Twin Post Clear Floor Lift.
Rotary makes the best, IMHO.
Oh, and one "flat" bay also.

I needs me a 3 bay shop.
