Do you guys think a 46mm Tial Wastegate will be enough to control GT42-76R Turbo? Thnaks

im sure it will.

the 46mm is the one most commonly used @ Daytona 24hr races on the turbo'ed and twin turbo'ed porches with no problems. If you dought the power handling capability, just shop internationally for their 60mm, which I still have not seen in person. Those bad 60mm wastegates I've seen a pictures of one used on a 7 seconds 1200hp skyline.

Tial Sport make the best wastegates and BOV's.

It should control it fine. I use a Turbosmart Pro Gate (45-48mm valve)and it controls my 42-76 non "R" just fine.

Ditto, the TS48 is a bad piece, and will flow a ton of air.

Thanks for the replies.

I need the dimensions for GT42-76R turbo, what size downpipe etc.
Thanks

If you use the GT42R exhaust housing, it has a 5" V-Band outlet. If you run the T4 exhaust housing, it has a 4" V-Band outlet.
