Thinking of going LS and 4L80E. Has anyone figured out a Crossmember that will work? I'm sure I can weld and modify the GN one but a bolt in piece would be sweet.

What I did. I also modded the mounts at the frame to be solid. [That "rubber frame" needs all the TLC it can get!]
The alum shim in the mount is to allow for raising/lowering the rear of the engine, to change the angle. [Currently 4*.]

On the LS conversion we recently finished on a GN, the customer purchased a custom crossmember for a G-Body, and it fit with the 4L80E just fine.
If you have access to a welder, Chuck's modification of the stock crossmember would be less expensive, and work just as well.
