What's the difference between the E and S other than inlet and outlet size? Also what's the significance of the ported shroud on the S other than it looks cool?

I have an anti surge S, 4" inlet and 2.5 out. I believe the E cover is 3/2 but don't quote me on that.

The diffuser is the same in both and both will flow the same air. Not enough room for ported inlet on the E. If the correct transition hose is used they have the same potential. Depends much more on the engine.
