I have a TA style 6365 turbo, just wondering if a 3000-3200 stall converter is enough for this turbo. Also how deep can I go with supporting mods.

The 6376 is rated for 690ph, so with supporting mods you should be able to get near there maxed out.

Well the 6365 billet is rated at 695hp so I wonder how far I can go with this one.

Question?
Are you talking about our 6365? Or is this a Precision unit?
Reason I ask is, we do not offer a Billet 63 wheel, our 6365 uses a cast 63mm compressor wheel. However, we do make a 6265 that uses a billet 62mm wheel.
Just trying to clarify for everyone.

If your turbo is ball bearing, a 3000-3200 might be adequate, however, if it's a journal bearing, you might have to go higher on the stall. Alot of variables here to work with. What/whose converter is it? With the right combo the 6365 should be capable of mid to high 10's with it's rating of 695 flywheel hp.

My bad it is Precisions cast 6365 journal bearing with a TA style cover. I have a Pro Torque 3000-3200 9.5in lock up converter and don't really want to buy a new converter right now so I was hoping the lag would be minimal.

Thanks

i ran a 10.5 3200 pro torque with a cast 62/65bb and with a .63 housing it spooled very fast.i thought the 9.5 was rated 3400+.i bet it would spool it with a .63 ex housing.i had no problems with the larger exhaust housing with mine but i don't have experience with the journal bearing.
