6776 bb turbo

Hello guys i have a bb 6776 and i wanted to know do i have to port anything out? I thought there was a post somewhere about boost issues. When i had the stock turbo on i could give the car a little gas and boost would show on my gauge now with the new turbo i get good vacume but it doesn't show any boost. I have a RJC boost controller and Terry H downpipe internal gate but i can't tell how much boost i am running. Any help u guys could give me would be gladly appreciated thanks again.

The posts about porting are about porting the WG hole on the exhaust housing but that is to control overboosting and boost creep not lack of boost. Do you get any boost at all if you get into the gas more? The 6776 is a good amount larger than the stock turbo so you probably just arent spooling it up yet at light throttle. What converter and stall speed are you running? Is the Turbo ball bearing? Wastegate functioning properly(not stuck open)?...all these things can affect spool up.
