I had my head set on a 71HPQ, but I can get a 71GTQ or a 70 Precision BB unit for half the price. I'm wanting to keep the stall around 3200-3500 if possible. I don't have headers yet so I could go 3 or 4 bolt. Planning to run E85 or 91 and alky, don't know yet. Am I slicing hairs here? Sig is below, thanks!

The question you need to ask yourself if the potential for 60 additional
horsepower is worth double the cost? Since you are not class racing, I don't know why it would be.

Buy these headers

and pick up a 4 bolt 7068 for your set up.
That way if you ever want faster you are set up for up to a mid frame 88.

If I could get the 71GTQ for half of the price of the 71HPQ I would do that. You should make sure you can get the 4 bolt housing for the turbo you pick before you order the headers. Half the price is sounding lkie youre shopping used but i could be wrong. Injectors will need to be upgraded if you go E85. All three will need at least a 3500 stall. I would say more like a 3800 stall if compression is in the 8s and the turbo isn't ball bearing. How much power are you looking to make?

Octane would be the limiting factor as far as HP. I am shopping for a used and or new turbo. I'll run either E85 or alky, but not both. I'll have to ask TA what they're setting my compression at. The 71GTQ that I'm looking at is local and it's a 4 bolt. The Precision 70 bb is a 3 bolt. I do know that the 95s would not go very far with E85. Thanks for the replys.
