Do these have a low / med / high boost setting? Are these white or almond colored? Do you have pictures available? Will you include shipping for that price?

I have a complete set of Stage 2 spark plug wires I might be interested in trading. These are the desirable off center so you can run your stock intake with them.
 
I am planning on trying a Turbonetics 66 Q trim BB turbo from Jason (Postal). I'd like to see how the boost behaves with a BB turbo on my car.

Are you testing under the same weather conditions? Ie: Baro, temp and hum.

Well i did not document the weather out side, and temps, but this is why the need for a dyno retest is required. I do realize that the gtq wheel does flow more air, but i have a feeling the 71 wheel/housing combination will not work on lower cfm airflows, and is contributing to the hp loss on iron headed combinations. The proper test would be to use the same compressor side and just swap the turbines and wheels
 
Norbs I agree with you about steel heads and bb or GTQ turbos.

I have tuned a stage motor with stage 2 heads and a 74 dual bb turbo and that motor wanted a lot more fuel in the mid range of the rpm band. We ended up turning the regulator up about 5 psi at idle to compensate for the fuel demands too. This was using a FAST unit with WB O2. In other words the heads flowed much more air than the steel or M&As older aluminum version.

That same turbo did not require as much fuel in the mid range using the M&A heads. The fuel pressure needed to be turned back down to 38 on the regulator.

This test was done on the same GN, same FAST unit, and same fuel pump, I cant remember the name of the pump at the moment but it will support 1000 hp.

Nashty the 66 bb from Innovative is a great street/strip turbo. It pulls very hard on a stock block/steel head motor with a 214 roller cam in it. I tuned that one with a batch fire DFI and a butt dyno. Me tuning it and dad driving it. It builds boost under the stall speed of the converter now. :D

Rick Percy is running that same 66 bb on his T Type and he has gone 10.84 at 125 with it and there is still room to go with the turbo. I think it will go up to 10.5s or so with no problems.

There is no doubt that the GTQ wheels can flow more air but I am seeing where steel heads and or aluminum heads cant utilize the amounts of air those wheels can produce in lower rpm ranges.

The stage 2 heads dont have that problem and that is more hp at lower rpm levels.

I would not be surprized if you lowered the boost on the 72 if the power wouldn't go up. I didn't inspect the maps on these two turbos, but I believe they should be compared while running in about the same spot on their respective maps. Or to be more precise, test them at the same compressor outlet temp. Just my O2. Later...Danny
