I think I've seen this somewhere before but can't find it so here it is....my '80 TTA has developed a squealing noise when I rev it. Sounds like a belt squeal but it isn't a belt. Seems like I remember something about a bad gasket that would act like a reed and make a squealing noise, but what gasket? Any ideas on how to figure this out? Makes the noise whether the waste gate is connected or not. Squeal is a little less noticeable as the car warms up, but is still loud and obnoxoius.
