Im working on a turbo 6 and just curios as to what kind of cam specs everyone is running.... anyone crazy enough to run a 800-1,000 stage II on the street?? lol

Turbobitt has a cam he might sell you. PM him if youre interested. It was over 900whp and is a fairly non aggressive ramp that doesnt require much spring.

and what turbo was he running?

Was running a Y2K88 turbo. Cam is a solid roller that was originally specified by Dutweiler and uses the comp cams extream street lobe profiles. I used this cam for the last 10-11 years on the street with a relativly mild spring with now issues.

If you are intrerested, I'll give you a good deal on the cam, and solid lifters I was running. Then we can talk cam specs.

Duration - less than 250 @ .050
Lift - less than .650

Wow I thought cams would be a little more rowdy than that I guess it's all in how big that turbo is! Lol how does that 88 spool on the street? You think you could make similar power with a 76 with less lag? Maybe a bit more rpm

It shouldn't be a problem being able to get 800-1,000 rwhp out of a 76mm.

That's more duration than what is needed for 800-1000 rwhp.

I know Don. I was just adding my specs. This Motor I have did almost 1200 HP at the Wheel with a Promod 90mm Turbo.
Just showing the add the comparisons..

I figured YOU knew. Just trying to keep it real for the OP.

242 @ .050, 250 @ .050, 108, .714 @ valve.

edit: Ooops. It's been so long, I forgot what it was. It was actually;
252 @ .050, 260 @ .050, 108, .714 @ valve.

Was running 108. I thought it worked very well, but for the next build (latest build), I was talked into something a little different by the folks at Crower. This latest cam is only slightly different.
I wouldn't hesitate using 108 lobe separation again.
