My insurance co. has been no help. The were so happy to here that they were not on the hook financially they were practically hi-fiveing in the office. Its really a mess right now, I,ve talked to one lawyer who said it wasn't worth his time so I'm still looking. This really sucks

John...

Check your policy declarations (or even an ID card) to see if you have underinsured motorists' coverage. If you have this coverage, your insurance company IS on the hook.

If you don't have this coverage, ask your agent about filing a claim through your own company. Even if you pursue settlement through the ricer's carrier, your company is obligated to represent your interests in this matter. If they come up short, talk to another lawyer. Persistence is wait will get you want you deserve out of this nightmare. I know because I've suffered through it.

RKHiPerformance, no underinsured coverage--I cant believe I was stupid enough to drop everything...however, a rep from AAA called--the second car that hit me after bouncing into traffic--wants to see my car. Any additional avenues for me to pursue at this point would be great. So I still have a glimmer of hope. Just the fact that they want to write a sheet on my car sounds promising

Put me down on the "Beat this kid list" any idea what he was doing to lose controll?

Sorry about the car, and it does seem like they have been dropping like flys. I have always wanted to see and LC2 in a 59 Coupe de Ville.

ooohh, that would be so cool  .

as far as uninsured motorist ins goes, not much chance in so cal.i tried to get it when i lived in san diego and because of the proliferation of our little brown buddies from south of the border driving around with no license/insurance it would have doubled my monthly premium:mad:

i've got it up here and it's like another $10 every 6 months:rolleyes:

good luck man,i hope it turns out in your favor.
