Why not use a trammy out of a Toronado or Riv? It bolts right up and would give you just what you're looking for without and adapter.;)
 
My car ran like crap when I had the transmission repaired. Mechanic forgot to attach ground strap from fire wall to bell housing. Someone on the board here said to just attached it to the intake manifold. Well, that didn't help. After attaching it to the bellhousing where it belonged, car ran great.

Thanks for the reply. I researched a bit more, and found out you bolt on a GM 4l60e right on a vett diff!
 
Do you already have the kit? I'm getting ready to list this one for sale. Mated to a porsche 5 speed & corvette transaxle.

is that the trans used in the LH cars?
if so, i don't think you want one behind anything with any kind of power... they are ticking timebombs behind stock 3.5 OHC engines...
