I was out last night and noticed a really nice 89
TTA in front of me. I wasn't in my GN so
I didn't stand out. Does anyone know
who drives it?

ive seen it as well, and of course i wasn't in my Gn. Middle aged guy with a mustache if i remember right? It looked like a fairly nice car but it had just rained so it had road grime/water on it.

I've seen a GN in League City in the Meadows. Is that you? Nevermind, I just noticed your location.

I have also seen a woman driving a GN around in League City that works
at a nursing home.

Only four in the area including me (that I've seen)

hmm haven't seen any of those cars... I think im the only one down here in galveston, although i have seen one leaving the yacht basin a few times, but i believe he lives in Texas city. If you see a GN on 17" TT2s with 315s in the back say hey

Sounds good.

There is a super nice one in Sugarland that I almost purchased. All original. Low miles. Paint is original and flawless.

There are two in League City. A nurse drives it. She heads south bound on I45.

Another one in League City in the Meadows subdivision.

An older gentleman drives one in the Clear Lake area but I am not sure where he lives. It's pretty beat up and has bumper stickers all over the rear. I have spoken to him and he was nice but I didn't catch where he lives. I pass him almost each morning on the Beltway.

And me. That makes 5. 4 in the Clear Lake area.

Do you take yours out often? Your times look pretty good. My fastest on the stock long block (101k miles) is 12.02. That was with the tranny slipping on the 1-2 shift. How much do you have in your home grown rebuild?

Yeah im out a lot usually, i go to bay area all the time. But ive kinda stayed in and around Galveston with gas prices right now. Nice times on that stock longblock. Its good to hear there are quite a few GNs running around down here. Homegrown rebuild as in tranny? lol a lot, i kept breaking hard parts, so i ended up just going with every billet part out there. Its been in and out quite a few times but this time im pretty sure it should stay together. ;) The car is my daily driver right now for a while, im enjoying it but can't wait to get my new AC hoses in and cool off again.

Interested in building another tranny? How much do you have in yours?

naw i wish i could, but im back in school now and wouldn't have the time to do it. with all the parts and torque converter along with rebuild kits and new clutches etc... probably close to 3 grand including the poor little 9/11 converter that got burned and broken because of the Od planetary locking up do to a bad roller bearing.

This has got to be the understatement of the YEAR.
JD is definally not worried about racking up miles
Well that was before $3.00 buck a gal. ;)

lol miles... im not selling the car and theres too much money in it to just let it sit at the parents place. Plus somebody down here in Galveston needs to show the Ls1s what a GN is ;) I may be cruising a tad more now that i just figured out my low BLM/ bad mileage problem.

What was it

Well little did i know (maybe this is common knowledge that bypassed me) you have to unplug the ecm for the translator to actually work right when adjusting the base settings. I figured it was like adjusting the fuel pressure. Well i followed Eric Marshals directions and undid the ECM and set it to 10% lean. WAlla, it idled fine and BLMs went to 128 and stayed around there for a 20 min cruise around galveston. The car runs around at part throttle a lot better now. Im a happy camper
