98 Silverado Reg Cab

HAS ANY ONE DONE THIS TRANSPLANT I HAVE A 98 SILVERADO REG CAB SHORTBED IAM WONDERING IF THIS WOULD BE TO HEAVY FOR THE 3.8 WITH TE44 60LBS AND ALL THE USUAL UPGRADES ITS JUST A THOUGHT LOOKING FOR OPINIONS FROM SOME OF THE VETS HERE THANKS:biggrin:

I think it'd be a bit much- you'll have to deal with a ton of extra mass, as well as gearing the rig to take advantage of the the torque curve, and all the other challenges that a hybrid brings to the table.

It would be cool, though!

The truck is not that much more mass than our cars, and if you look at some of the bigger hybrids the truck is about the same (ie full size caddy or the big wagon) I think you could do it and have a blast, I had thought about putting a stock Buick Turbo on a 4.3 truck but just haven't done it yet.
